Prof. Santosh KC

Mr. Santosh K.C is an assistant professor of law at Kathmandu University School of Law (KUSOL). He is the Founding coordinator of the Debating and Mooting Society at the KUSOL that helps students to enhance their capacity to participate in mooting and debating competitions by organizing internal and external debates and moot competitions and facilitating the students to get access to such competitions to be organized at national and international levels. He is also serving as a faculty coordinator for Students Welfare Council, a student body at the School, which supports to provide quality education to all the students. He is a former mootie and has ample experience of participating in national and international moot competitions including Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition and Laxman Prasad Aral Memorial National Moot Competition. Simultaneously, he teaches civil and commercial law subjects including company law, contract law, insurance law, professional ethics and moot court among others at the KUSOL.

Mr. KC is a member of High Court Bar Association in Nepal, and has enough experience of litigation and pleading at the law courts in the area of Commercial, Civil and Criminal laws. He is a Research fellow at China-South Asian Law. He also served as a member of the High-Level Task Force for Modernizing Securities Institutions, formed by Home Ministry, Government of Nepal, in 2008.
