Hayder Asad Hameed is a former participant, coach, and arbitrator at the Vis Moot, his first participation was in 2018. Recently, he obtained his LLB from Al-Iraqia University. Hayder always sought to share his experience in arbitration & international trade law with law students, he believes developing Iraq’s economy is achieved by developing and fostering international arbitration in Iraq.
His learning journey turned into passion in 2019, where he participated as a co-coach, followed by 2020 where he invested his passion in training Al-Iraqia vis moot team, and his team was able to achieve The First Ranked team in the Iraqi annual international commercial Arbitration Moot competition.
Currently, he is coaching Al-Iraqia vis moot team for the third year in a row!
He would say he enjoys novels, but if you sneak up on him, you will find him reading International arbitration for professor Gary Born!
