Drew Roberts

Drew Roberts is an Attorney Advisor-International with the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) in the Office of the General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Commerce where he works on programs in Belarus, Ukraine, and Moldova. Prior to joining CLDP Mr. Roberts worked as an International Trade Specialist with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration, working to ensure foreign government compliance with international and bilateral trade agreement obligations, focusing on Technical Barriers to Trade, Trade Facilitation, and Sanitary and Phytosanitary agreement issues in Eurasia. He began his legal career in the Court of Common Pleas of Beaver County, Pennsylvania where he clerked for Judge Deborah A. Kunselman.

Mr. Roberts received his JD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he served as Senior Articles Editor on the Pittsburgh Journal of Environmental and Public Health Law. Mr. Roberts holds an LL.M. in Human Rights Law from Queen’s University Belfast and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland. He is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Mr. Roberts is proficient in Spanish and has a working knowledge of Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian.
